Hewitt and Son joiners was established in 1999 by Simon Hewitt, having trained as an apprentice in America and lovingly restoring a house in France I returned to England to pursue my aspirations.
The company is a small family business which offers personal service and attention to detail, our portfolio includes a range of work carried out for customers both domestic and commercial although we now specialise in outdoor areas for schools and nurseries. Our work is bespoke and we meet many customers who are not sure exactly what they would like but know what they want to use it for, our service includes ideas for design and options to choose from.
In the last year our business has expanded starting with the employment of Jonathan who qualified at Leeds college of building at Level 3 in Joinery and Carpentry. In the last few months we have employed Joshua who is beginning his career in joinery with us and is also taking his apprenticeship at Leeds college of building. We pride ourselves in a shared philosophy of excellent customer service and attention to detail
